Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Medical Coder in Schenectady, NY to assign ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes and abstract key information from patient records. This full-time contract role requires appropriate coding credentials and at least two years of experience in healthcare coding.

Hourly pay is $25 with a 40-hour workweek. Benefits include health/dental/vision/life insurance and a 401(k) plan. Amergis is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least one of the following certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H (COC) for a minimum of 2 years and have a minimum of 2 years relevant coding experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
