Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to use common housekeeping devices such as brooms, mops, waxers, scouring pads, dust rags, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior assigned areas in Medical Center in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition.
• Clean and polish sinks, showers, bathtubs, tiles and other bathroom equipment.
• Move patient beds and furniture within patient rooms and on the same floor.
• Assist in transporting heavy items within the Medical Center as needed.
• Operate floor maintenance equipment (buffing machines, wet vacuums).
• Strips and refinishes floors.
• Perform related duties as required.
