Job Title: Cash Poster

Location: Louisville, KY 40241 (FULLY REMOTE AFTER 30 DAY ONSITE TRAINING)

Pay: $18–$20/hr (Up to $21/hr for highly experienced candidates)

About Our Client:

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading behavioral healthcare provider. As part of a growing team, the Cash Poster will contribute to revenue cycle operations by accurately posting manual payments and reconciling remittances in a high-volume setting.

Job Description:

This role focuses on manual payment posting and reconciliation, working with remits, EOBs, and Excel-based reports. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and experienced in lockbox handling, balancing, and end-of-day reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually post patient and insurance payments from remittance files and EOBs
• Reconcile payments using Excel and internal software
• Balance daily deposits and finalize end-of-day posting reports
• Manage lockbox activity, including processing patient check payments
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy in postings for 3–4 assigned facilities
• Assist with resolving posting discrepancies and payment mismatches

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with payment posting and EOB processing
• Comfortable working with remits and lockboxes
• Proficiency in Excel (required)
• Experience with hospital or physician billing systems preferred
• Prior exposure to payer portals such as Waystar, Meditech, or Assurance is a plus
• Background in behavioral health is helpful but not required

Additional Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift with flexible start between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM after training
• Training: Fully onsite for first 30 days, then fully remote
