Job description

This is a work-from-home position with travel covering Tulsa and Oklahoma City territories.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide effective case management services in a cost-effective manner, consistent with URAC standards, CMSA Standards of Practice, and Broadspire QA Guidelines for patients/employees receiving benefits under various insurance lines.
  2. Review case records, analyze data, evaluate medical status, identify needs and obstacles, and provide proactive case management services.
  3. Render opinions on case costs, treatment plans, outcomes, and make recommendations to facilitate RTW (Return to Work).
  4. Meet administrative requirements including productivity, time management, and QA standards with minimal supervision.
  5. Perform job site evaluations to facilitate case management.
  6. Establish professional relationships with injured workers, physicians, and employers to facilitate RTW.
  7. Communicate regularly with claims adjusters and all parties involved to keep them informed of case activity and secure necessary authorizations.
  8. Utilize clinical expertise to interpret medical records and test results.
  9. Travel approximately 70% of the work time to homes, healthcare providers, job sites, and offices.
  10. Meet monthly production and QA requirements.
  11. Review cases with supervisors and uphold the company's code of conduct.
  12. Demonstrate excellent customer service, problem-solving, and independent work skills.
  13. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Associate's degree or relevant coursework in Nursing; BSN preferred.
  2. 1-3 years of clinical experience.
  3. Certification as a case manager from the URAC-approved list (preferred) or RN license.
  4. Compliance with state requirements for national certifications.
  5. Knowledge of case management practices and workers' compensation products.
  6. Excellent communication, analytical, organizational skills, and computer literacy.
  7. Ability to establish collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.
  8. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 if required by law.
  9. Active RN license in good standing.
  10. Minimum of 1 National Certification (e.g., CCM, CDMS, CRRN, COHN); plan to obtain within 36 months if not already certified.
  11. Valid driver's license and ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.
