Clinical Associates in Reisterstown, MD seeks a Full Time Medical Call Center/Patient Service Representative to join our PSR team. The role involves handling high-volume patient calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and documenting in the EMR system.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED, prior medical call center experience, strong math and patient service skills, and proficiency with EMR systems. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

We are seeking to add an experienced Full Time Medical Call Center/ Patient Service Representative to our PSR team in Reisterstown located at 120 Westminster Pike!

Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a team environment, supporting multiple providers in a high volume medical call center environment. You must be willing to go above and beyond in providing customer service to our patients.

Shift: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week / You must be available to work a shift between 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

The Medical Call Center Patient Service Representative is the first point of contact and provides a professional, supportive, and nurturing experience for patients and visitors via telephone. The Medical Call Center Representative is responsible for answering all incoming phone calls for the healthcare provider, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance and documenting messages in the EMR system.

The Medical Call Center / Patient Service Representative must be detail oriented and possess the ability to multi-task to ensure that all company protocols are being performed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and quickly assessing the nature of calls and acting appropriately to provide prompt, professional service.
• Scheduling appointments
• Verifying insurance / resolving eligibility issues prior to a scheduled appointment.
• Collecting co-pays, deductibles, and account balances (PRN basis)
