Munson Healthcare in Grayling, MI is hiring a Medical Business Associate (Receptionist) for a Family Practice Clinic. You will be the first point of contact, registering patients and verifying insurance information to ensure a smooth visit.

You will schedule appointments, greet patients professionally by phone and in person, and support the clinic team with accurate data entry across multiple systems. A patient-centered approach is essential.

Formación

• High school graduate or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Medical Practice Business Associate or similar healthcare role.
• Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.

Schedule: 40 Hours Weekly - Monday - Friday - Clinic Operates 7 AM to 7 PM - Schedules vary, with some shifts beginning at 7:00 AM and others ending at 5:00 PM, 5:30 PM, or 7:00 PM

A Day inthe Life

• As a Medical Business Associate (Receptionist), you are the first point of contact for patients & their families. Your personal interaction and efficiency start the path for an exceptional experience of care, wellness, and healing.

You will obtain/verifyall required patient and insurance informationand enterthe information into the registration system in an accurate manner.

You will schedulepatient appointments which may include return office visits, referrals, diagnostic testing/procedures.

You will set the tone forthe visit! You will greetpatients professionally in person and over the telephone and respond effectively to patients and their families.

What’s Required - Specialist

High school graduate or GED. Associate Degree Preferred

A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or working in a similar healthcare role.

Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems.

What’s Required - Associate

High school graduate or GED

• 6 months to 1 year Customer Service experience required. Usually achieved by previously working with the public with minimal supervision.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
