Houston Nephrology Group, PA is seeking a Medical Billing Coordinator to support our outpatient billing operations. This full-time role focuses on accurate claims submission, timely follow-up, and clear communication with payers and internal teams.

You will prepare and submit claims, follow up on denials, verify eligibility, maintain billing records, and help improve efficiency and compliance across billing workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing for outpatient settings is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, review, and submit medical claims in accordance with payer requirements.
• Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and underpayments to support timely reimbursement.
• Verify patient and payer information, including eligibility and coverage details.
• Maintain accurate billing records and ensure accounts are updated promptly.
• Research billing issues and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with clinical and administrative staff.
• Support ongoing billing workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
