Job summary

Surgery Partners seeks an experienced medical billing professional to manage claims, ensure timely resolution of disputes, and generate accurate patient billing information. The role requires effective written and verbal communication, attention to compliance, and the ability to work with Medicaid/Medicare billing standards.

You will handle UB04 and HCFA 1500 processes, identify trends, and contribute to reports while collaborating with medical staff and external agencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of two years of experience with medical office billing procedures.
• Billing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve disputed claims by gathering, verifying, providing additional information, and following up on claims.
• Resolve discrepancies by examining data and selecting corrective steps.
• Maintain operations by following policies and reporting compliance issues.
• Stay current on Medicaid/Medicare billing and reimbursement procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
