Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum three years' medical billing office experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of CPT/ICD-9/ICD-10 codes and revenue codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the XClaim billing platform daily to resolve outstanding claims.
• Manage bill holds and bill releases; notify supervisor of problem accounts.
• Initiate pre-cert for case management and send notifications as appropriate.
• Complete monthly contract billing, including posting payments and resolving unpaid accounts.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Document pertinent events and research on accounts.
• Promote team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences; uphold patient safety and quality.
