Revecore is seeking a Billing Advocate to efficiently process medical claims and pursue accurate payment from insurers. The role emphasizes timely submissions, payer follow-ups, and resolving denials to support hospital revenue cycles.

You'll engage with insurance companies, hospital staff, and patients over the phone and email, balancing a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy and compliance. A customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with insurance claims is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role in an office environment preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in office setting
• Minimum one year experience with customer service

Responsabilités

• Submit on a timely basis to insurance companies' medical claims for processing.
• Follow up with all payers to validate submission of hospital or physician status forms within adjudication process.
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle time frames.
• Call insurance companies regarding payments and denials to check on status and obtain EOBs.
• Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances.
• Answer all patient or insurance company telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts.
• Balance new work and follow up accounts within workload.
