Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License OR Valid Photo ID Card
• Communication & Active Listening skills
• Problem Solving, Attention to Detail, Organization and Multi-Tasking
• Intermediate Experience with Microsoft Office Excel; functions and formulas
• HIPAA compliance confidentiality
• Read, Speak and Write the English language
• Basic Understanding of Accounting Procedures

Responsibilities

• Runs reports from multiple sources (Electronic Medical Record) to find missing data and correct issues
• Creates Instruction Manuals for Directors and Supervisors in the Organization
• Uses EMR/PMS to generate reports to audit services and admission setup for issues
• Communicates service or client data issues to UM, Admissions, Program Manager, Division Director, Clinical Director, Management Team, and practitioners
• Tracks and follows up on communications to confirm billing issues are addressed before submission, resubmission or appeals
• Creates and submits electronic-based services with accuracy
• Uses EMR/PMS and other software to create electronic 837 files, paper claims, invoices
• Transfers EMR/PMS reports to Excel to audit and validate client data for claims submission or setup
