Minnesota Urology P.A. in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Full-Time Medical Billing Specialist to manage patient accounts and ensure accurate billing and timely claims processing. The role serves as the primary resource for patients, staff, and payers on balances and financial questions.

You will investigate denials, assist with payment plans, and help maintain accurate account records while collaborating with clinical staff to support a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • 2-3+ years in healthcare billing including patient accounts and revenue cycle.
  • Experience with ICD-10/CPT codes, third-party payors, prior authorizations.
  • Proficiency with Athena EMR or similar systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and customer service skills.
