Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor claim status and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
• Make outbound calls to patients, payers, and stakeholders.
• Collect outstanding balances and post payments in the EHR.
• Research, correct, and process claims across payer types.
• Verify claims submitted correctly and resolve denials and discrepancies.
• Educate patients on balances and payment options.
• Communicate with providers about documentation needs for adjudication.
• Assist with daily deposit reconciliation and patient balancing.
• Support billing audits by gathering and preparing requested documentation.
• Process patient refund requests per established policies.
