TEKsystems seeks an experienced Medical Billing Manager to lead the Revenue Cycle Operations billing and cash applications teams. You will ensure accurate and timely billing, payment posting, charge entry, and reconciliation while maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

• Associates or higher degree preferred.
• 2+ years in lead/supervisor/mgr role.
• 5+ years in medical billing and RCM knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership for Billing and Cash Applications teams within Revenue Cycle Operations.
• Oversee daily billing and payment activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee submission of claims to third-party payers.
• Ensure accurate payment posting, charge entry, and cash reconciliation.
• Maintain payer enrollments and related documentation.
• Coach and develop staff with ongoing performance feedback.
• Implement policies and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs and departmental productivity for trends and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, payer requirements, and healthcare regulations.
• Identify and address billing, payment, and reimbursement issues affecting revenue.
• Collaborate with Finance, IS, Clinical Ops, and payers to improve processes.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and reconciliation as needed.
• Promote accountability and exceptional service.

Medical Billing Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Operations Manager to provide overall leadership and management of the Billing and Cash Applications functions within Revenue Cycle Operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, payment posting, charge entry, cash reconciliation, and payer enrollment activities while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations along with proven leadership experience. This position will oversee daily departmental operations, manage and develop staff, monitor performance metrics, and partner with internal departments and third-party payers to improve reimbursement, cash flow, operational efficiency, and overall service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of Billing and Cash Applications teams within Revenue Cycle Operations.
• Manage daily operations and ensure accurate and timely completion of billing and payment activities.
• Oversee the generation and submission of claims to third-party payers.
• Ensure accurate payment posting, charge entry, and reconciliation of cash activity.
• Monitor and maintain payer enrollments and related documentation.
• Supervise, train, coach, and develop team members while providing ongoing performance feedback.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and departmental productivity to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, and applicable healthcare billing regulations.
• Identify and address billing, payment, and reimbursement issues that may impact revenue or cash flow.
• Collaborate with Finance, Information Systems, Clinical Operations, and third-party payers to resolve issues and improve revenue cycle processes.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and reconciliation activities as needed.
• Promote a strong culture of accountability, customer service, accuracy, and operational excellence.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $97000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
