Job summary

City Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Northern New Jersey is hiring a data-driven, AI-enabled Medical Billing Lead / Manager to oversee our billing team and ensure accurate coding, timely billing for visits and surgeries, and strong revenue cycle performance.

You will leverage AI tools and automation to process denials, manage A/R, and drive improvements with data, reporting, and clear communication. This is a full-time, on-site role in East Rutherford with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of medical billing experience, ideally including team leadership.
• Strong CPT, ICD-10 and payer knowledge.
• Data-driven, with strong spreadsheet and reporting skills.
• Comfortable using AI tools and automation in daily work.
• Clear communication and collaboration with the billing team.

Responsibilities

We're hiring a data-driven, AI-enabled Medical Billing Lead / Manager to lead our billing team. Much of our billing work runs on AI and automation tools, and you'll help us use them well.

What you'll do

• - Lead and support the billing team
• - Make sure visits and surgeries are billed quickly and accurately
• - Manage denials, appeals and A/R
