Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and experience in a medical setting, plus proficiency in MS Office and strong verbal/written communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School graduate required.
• Two years of medical facility or medical business office experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Good communication skills over the phone and through writing

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients, staff, and management regarding account status.
• Generates patient account statements, maintains accounts receivable files, and follows up on collection of receivables.
• Ensures claims are billed timely with accurate coding and proper documentation.
• Reviews financial obligations with patient and family members.
