• Minimum 2 years of medical billing/coding or medical assistant experience.
• Experience with EHR and billing software (Epic, NextGen, Allscripts, etc.).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow protocol to ensure accurate and timely billing per internal and carrier requirements.
• Follow up on third-party approvals and maintain accounts receivable controls.
• Review charge tickets and resolve issues affecting charges collection.
• Communicate with clients regarding delinquencies, adjustments and write-offs.
• Prepare records and reports on billing and financial activities; ensure compliance with policies.
