Qualifications

• Active certification or licensure required where applicable.
• Master's degree with content-specific credentials is preferred.
• Experience teaching in higher education or proprietary education settings is advantageous.
• Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.
• Ability to design and assess instructional programs and student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional materials using classroom and lab instruction to engage students.
• Ensure course materials meet learning objectives for each program.
• Prepare, maintain, and ensure availability of instructional materials and equipment.
• Participate in ongoing faculty assessment, professional development, and required certification/licensure.
• Attend meetings, analyze assessment data, and meet academic and administrative deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, accrediting bodies and internal policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education

Master's degree in content area

Master's degree with 18 semester/24 quarter graduate credit hours

Bachelor's degree in related field

Associate degree in technical/occupational field
