Job summary

LifeBridge Health, in partnership with Practice Dynamics, Inc. (PDI), is seeking a Medical Billing Clerk to support accurate patient demographics and insurance data, ensuring clean claims for timely submission.

The role enters and verifies patient information, processes charges within 48 hours, and reviews payor edits. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years’ related experience and a CCS/CPC certification within a year of hire.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of related experience.
• CCS, CCS-P, CPC or CPC-A certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and updates patient demographic and insurance information for accuracy.
• Enters patient demographics if not registered and verifies patient account information.
• Keys or reviews and releases charges into the billing system within 48 hours of receipt.
• Verifies accuracy and completion of encounter form, reviews and corrects payor rejection claim edits.
• Resolution of all coding edits through Claims Manager to assure clean accurate claims are submitted timely.
