Denton Village by PureHealth seeks a skilled Billing Specialist to manage insurance billing and AR in a fast-paced skilled nursing facility. You will support the Business Office Manager and ensure accurate claims submission and timely cash posting.

Ideal candidates have strong managed care billing experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to navigate payer communications. This role requires flexibility for a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with managed care insurance billing and AR collections.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with payers, patients, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Billing and collections for managed care/insurance payers.
• Verify benefits and document proof of insurance.
• Interpret managed care contracts and bill accordingly.
• Review admissions data to ensure proper AR entries.
• Follow up on missing insurance data.
• Post cash from daily/weekly reports accurately.
• Address receivables and respond to denials promptly.
• Bill and collect coinsurance, copays, deductibles.
• Explain benefits, co-pays, coinsurance, deductibles per plan.
• Month-end data entry and timely close processes.
• Manage time to meet deadlines.
• Lead AR collections efforts for delinquent accounts.
