Job summary

MyCare Medical Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist to process medical billing claims of low to moderate complexity, collect payments, and handle refunds and appeals as needed. You will scrub claims, submit to clearinghouse, analyze A/R balances, and follow up with payers to maximize timely payments.

The ideal candidate has healthcare billing experience, familiarity with CPT/ICD10 codes, HIPAA compliance, and strong written and verbal communication to resolve payer

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare billing and collections is required.
• Familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding and payer guidelines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests from management, staff or providers in a timely manner.
• Maintains patient and physician confidentiality and professionalism.
• Scrubs claims daily and submits to clearinghouse.
• Generates timely submission of claims to assigned payers.
• Follows department policies to ensure accurate and timely claim resolution.
• Reviews A/R balances to ensure timely payments.
