Lateam Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to support billing, payment processing, accounts receivable, and financial administration for a U.S.-based healthcare services organization.

The ideal candidate will manage insurance and private-pay accounts, verify eligibility and documentation, reconcile financial transactions, and collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to maintain accurate records and timely invoicing.

Qualificações

• Experience in medical billing and healthcare billing operations.
• Knowledge of insurance billing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing software and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Advanced English communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and with remote teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage billing activities for healthcare services with accurate invoicing.
• Maintain insurance and private-pay accounts, coverage details, and billing rates.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization documentation.
• Verify service records and billing information for accurate charges.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and unbilled services.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation.
• Process and reconcile payments from patients, insurance providers, and others.
• Record electronic transfers, checks, and card payments; monitor outstanding invoices.
• Investigate missing or unapplied payments and account inconsistencies.
• Assist with collection activities and payment follow-ups.
• Support payroll preparation and related adjustments as needed.
• Prepare financial reports and payment summaries; assist with year-end documentation.
