Job summary

MEDSURITY EXPERTS is seeking a Medical Billing and Coding Professional to join our team. In this role, you will review medical records, confirm CPT codes, and provide your opinion on whether the medical bills are being overcharged. This is a commission-only position with excellent earning potential.

This is a remote position. Responsibilities include coding and abstracting patient appointments, data analysis for reimbursement, ensuring proper code sequencing, and maintaining documentation to

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Medical Billing and Coder or in a similar position.
• Familiar with coding software and other computer programs.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, especially with the V-Lookup formula.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to problem-solve.
• Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
