Siouxland Community Health Center is seeking a Medical Billing Representative. The position is full-time and can be on-site or remote depending on experience, with emphasis on medical billing and insurance claims processing.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED plus related training or experience, strong data entry skills, and familiarity with a Practice Management System. Commercial insurance knowledge is preferred and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two years of related experience or training.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance preferred.
• Experience with Practice Management systems is beneficial.
• Strong data entry and numerical accuracy skills.

Responsabilités

• Post EOBs, denials, and adjustments in the medical Practice Management System.
• Process pending accounts receivable and patient billing.
• Reconcile charges, payments, and adjustments daily.
• Establish and update patient payment plans as needed.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information into the system.

• Post EOBs, denials, and adjustments in Practice Management System (medical).
• Process pending Accounts Receivable accounts.
• Reconcile all charges, payments, and adjustments to daily close.
• Establish patient payment plans.
• Collect and enter new patient demographic, financial and insurance information in Practice Management System.
