Addison Group in North Chicago, IL, is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to support the full medical billing process in a hybrid role after initial onsite training. The position offers a competitive hourly pay and benefits, with a schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote after training.

The successful candidate will have prior medical billing experience, knowledge of claims and denials, and strong communication skills to interact with providers and patients.

• Certification in medical billing/coding preferred but not required.
• Experience with podiatry, physical therapy, behavioral health, or OB/GYN billing is a plus.

• Must live within approximately 30 minutes of the North Chicago office.

Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $18.88 - $22.50 / hour, based on experience. Candidates with extensive specialty billing experience may be considered at a higher rate.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7.5 hour workday with a 30 - minute unpaid lunch. Flexible start time between 8:00 - 9:00 AM. Hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote after approximately one month of training.
