Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking a Medical Biller to join our team. This position will begin training on site full-time in Glen Rock, NJ and will transition to Hybrid-Remote after 1-2 months.

Responsibilities include reviewing patient records in billing software, initiating billing, resolving authorization issues, following up on claims, and coordinating with insurers and patients to keep billing accurate and timely. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience with medical billing.
• Solid understanding of medical billing software and procedures (Kareo, WebPT, Navinet, CMD).
• Experience with HRM software such as WebPT preferred.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively with minimum supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-network billing experience with commercial insurances and Medicare.

• Prepare and update summary documentation as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
