Job summary

DaMar Staffing, on behalf of a large NY/NJ surgical practice, is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist with 3+ years of billing experience to join its revenue cycle team.

The ideal candidate will have ICD-10/CPT coding knowledge, experience with operative reports, Nextech, and a keen eye for accuracy in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of medical billing experience.
• Strong ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of medical coding guidelines and practices.
• Proven ability to review operative reports for accurate coding.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree in Medical Billing, Health Information Management, or related field preferred.
• CPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities
