Job summary

TAE Technologies, Inc in Irvine, California is seeking a Mechanical Designer experienced in 3-D modeling and capable of detailed mechanical solutions. This role involves creating and maintaining CAD designs, coordinating with teams, and ensuring quality checks on completed projects.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a mechanical design role using 3-D modeling.
• Ability to generate detailed mechanical and electro-mechanical design solutions.
• Basic working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (ASME Y14.5M).
• Experience with DFMA (design for manufacturing assembly).
• Capable of performing hands-on installation of designed components.

Responsibilities

• Complete complex 2- and 3-D CAD design assignments.
• Coordinate and consult with staff to design and resolve design problems.
• Host and actively participate in team design reviews.
• Produce and maintain working drawings and procurement documentation.
• Test, inspect, assemble, and install final parts and assemblies.
