Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals prior to the patient’s appointment.
• Ensure authorizations are documented in the system.
• Advise patients of potential authorization problems.
• Coordinate with Billing/Collections to obtain authorizations on previously denied claims.
• Use insurer portals to obtain referrals/authorizations.
