Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is looking for a Medical Assistant to support wound care services. You will interview patients, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist physicians with procedures under supervision.

The role requires completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent, with preferred Cerner/Athena experience. A dedicated team focuses on patient education, safety, and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office knowledge and computer skills required.
• Ability to document patient vitals and medical information in a timely manner.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Athena experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients’ charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination.
• Assist with treatments ordered by physician under supervision.
• Perform phlebotomy and injections under nurse supervision.
• Maintain clean and orderly environment and clerical duties as needed.
