Inova | GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant with X-Ray duties to support Providers and Radiologic Technologists. You will handle patient care, registration, vitals, and basic imaging under supervision.

The role emphasizes accuracy, high-quality patient interaction, and collaboration across teams to deliver rapid, compassionate urgent care. BLS and MA credentials are required or in process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• MA certifications: CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, or state equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited x-ray services for patients under provider direction.
• Register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, schedule visits.
• Prepare patients for exams, measure vitals, and report results to providers.
• Stock exam rooms and manage medical records and notes.
