Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care across multiple western-suburban locations, including Addison, Lombard, Naperville, Oak Park and Woodridge. This full-time role involves travel between sites with possible Saturday rotations and evenings.

Under supervision of physicians and RNs, you will assist with clinical tasks, patient throughput, and follow-up activities. A Medical Assisting program, CPR certification, and past MA experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience is required.
• Must be eligible and willing to obtain Medical Assistant Certification.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Practice Manager and Clinical Supervisor, assists the medical provider with clinical tasks and direct patient care.
• Facilitates patient throughput, clinical testing, and follow-up activities as directed.

Medical Assistant (Western Suburbs - Multiple Locations)

Hourly Pay Range: $20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Location: We’re hiring Medical Assistants who are open to traveling to all locations: Addison Lombard Naperville Oak Park Woodridge

Shift: Full-time only (not seasonal or temporary)

Hours: Monday-Friday with potential rotating Saturdays, must have availability to work past 6pm Weekend coverage options

Travel required to other locations as needed

What you will do:

• Reporting to the assigned Practice Manager, with accountability to the Clinical Supervisor, serves as primary assistant to the medical provider by performing routine clinical tasks and direct patient care under the supervision of the Physician (MD) and Registered Nursing (RN).


• Based on physician orders, facilitates patient throughput, clinical testing, and follow up activities.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required


• Successful Completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by AAMA or ARMA strongly preferred


• Previous MA experience required


• Must be eligible and willing to obtain Medical Assistant Certification


• CPR certification required
