Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Medical Assistant in Bannockburn, IL. This full-time role (40 hours/week) runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with some travel to other locations and flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Prior medical office experience and CPR-BLS are required or preferred; phlebotomy/injections may be needed depending on the specialty. The position offers a pay range of $20.29–$29.42 per hour, based on experience and expertise.

Position Highlights

What you will do

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight
• Provide front office support as needed
• Phlebotomy and giving injections varies based on the specialty

What you will need

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
• Certification: CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) is preferred, but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
