Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Medical Assistant Program from an accredited institution.
• Certification from nationally recognized MA bodies (AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare rooms for examination.
• Measure and record patient vital signs and collect specimens as needed.
• Assist physicians/APPs and nurses in patient care and documentation in EMR (Epic).
• Obtain and process blood samples per policy; manage Rx refills and inbasket messages.
• Support patient experience by communicating with providers and staff and ensuring privacy.
