Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) is part of Advocate Health, with more than 350 locations across Illinois and Wisconsin. This full-time Neurology position in Park Ridge offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00–4:30 or 8:30–5:00) with no weekends or holidays.

You will support providers, take vital signs and histories, prepare patients for exams, administer vaccines, perform lab tasks, and document care in the EHR as part of a collaborative ambulatory team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
