Endeavor Health in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care in a part-time capacity (20 hours/week) at 2205 Butterfield Road.

Under supervision, you will prepare patients for exams, collect specimens, perform routine lab tests, may conduct phlebotomy, and assist with injections and clerical clinic tasks.

Required: high school diploma, CPR, and CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred or at least one year of clinical experience; travel to other locations occasionally.

Qualifikationen

• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certification Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) preferred with current certification/registration and at least 6 months clinical experience - PREFERRED
• If not certified, at least one year of clinical experience - PREFERRED
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association - REQUIRED

Hourly Pay Range:

$20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Medical Assistant


• Location: 2205 Butterfield Road, Downers Grove


• Part Time: 20 hours per week


• Hours- Monday 6:30a-6:30p & 6:30a-2:30p every other weekend


• Required Travel: Occasionally

This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

Under the direction of the Supervisor, performs select clinical functions to enhance delivery of patient care. Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and records results, routine diagnostic tests and may perform phlebotomy. Under general supervision of a physician, administer selected medications/injections. Also performs clerical duties related to clinic operations.

What you will need:

• High school diploma or GED - REQUIRED


• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience. - PREFERRED


• Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience. - PREFERRED


• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association - REQUIRED
