Job summary

Endeavor Health Careers in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant for a part-time role (20 hours per week) at 2205 Butterfield Road. The position requires clinical duties, patient prep, specimen collection, basic lab tests, and light clerical work.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, and at least 6 months of clinical experience. CPR certification is preferred.

• Administer selected medications/injections under physician supervision.
• Perform clerical duties related to clinic operations.

Hourly Pay Range: $20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Position: Medical Assistant

Location: 2205 Butterfield Road, Downers Grove

Part Time: 20 hours per week

Hours- Monday 6:30a-6:30p & 6:30a-2:30p every other weekend

Required Travel: Occasionally

This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do

Under the direction of the Supervisor, performs select clinical functions to enhance delivery of patient care.

Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and records results, routine diagnostic tests and may perform phlebotomy.

Under general supervision of a physician, administer selected medications/injections.

Also performs clerical duties related to clinic operations.

What you will need

• High school diploma or GED - REQUIRED
• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience.
• PREFERRED Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience.
• PREFERRED Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
• REQUIRED
