The Conrad / Pearson Clinic PC in Germantown, TN is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform routine patient care and support the physicians in clinical procedures. You will handle check-in, vital signs, specimen collection and specimen processing, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, preparing for minor surgeries, triaging calls, and maintaining clean exam rooms while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred, preferably in a urology practice.
• Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills are required.
• Occasional overtime, evening and weekend work is required.
• A valid driver’s license, dependable automobile and current auto insurance are required for occasional travel for business purposes and to work at satellite locations.

Responsabilités

• Check-in patients, record vital signs, procure supplies, and obtain and care for specimens.
• Clean, sanitize and stock exam rooms.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and ensure equipment works properly.
• Assist providers with procedures such as cystoscopies, ultrasounds and biopsies.
• Administer injections and document in medical records.
• Prepare for minor surgeries and coordinate scheduling of procedures.
• Triage calls and coordinate test results with providers; document actions.
• Perform venipuncture and general laboratory duties.
• Maintain clinical supplies and ensure satellite locations are stocked.
• Adhere to OSHA, CLIA and HIPAA regulations and protect patient confidentiality.
