Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant - Urology at our Elmhurst, IL site (1220 S York Street) for a 20-hour per week schedule. The role includes phlebotomy, specimen handling, basic lab tests, and supporting clinical and administrative tasks under supervision.

Eligible employees may receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Required: high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, flexible scheduling. Preferred: CMA/RMA/CCMA certification and bilingual Spanish skills.

• Valid driver's license; driving off-site may be required with automobile liability coverage.
• Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evenings and Saturday rotation.
• Preferred CMA/RMA/CCMA certifications with at least 6 months of clinical experience.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

• Under general supervision of clinic supervisor, prepares patients for examinations, obtains specimens, conducts routine lab tests and records results, performs phlebotomy and basic diagnostic tasks; supports physician with clinical and administrative duties.

Hourly Pay Range:

$20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Sign On Bonus: This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign on bonus. The first $500 will be paid on the pay date of the pay period in which you achieve your 6-month mark of employment. The remaining $500 will be paid on the pay date of the pay period in which you achieve your 1-year mark of employment, as long as you are still employed in this position at a 0.5 FTE or above.
• Position: Medical Assistant - Urology
• Location: 1220 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL
• Part Time: 20 hours /week
• Office Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Schedule varies between Office Hours.
• Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

• Under general supervision of clinic supervisor, and following established procedures and precedents, prepares patients for physical examination, obtains specimens, conducts select routine laboratory tests and records results, and performs phlebotomy, routine diagnostic tests. Under delegated supervision of a physician; performs clinical and administrative tasks.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
• A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
• Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotation

Preferred:

• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA , RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
