MarinHealth Medical Network seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinical teams under supervision of the Clinical Lead and Practice Leader. You will gather patient information, assess requests, obtain vitals, assist with procedures, and uphold infection prevention standards.

Requirements include Medical Assistant certification, BLS, and at least two years of front-/back-office experience; re-processing experience is a plus.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program such as NHA and AMCA; BLS certification required.
• Experience: At least two years of related medical assisting experience with front and back office responsibilities.
• Re-processing/ procedural experience is preferred.
• Experience in at least one specialty area preferred.
• Experience with insurance and prior auth preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct patient care: Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting symptoms, and managing their visit details.
• Documentation in electronic medical records; provide injections and assist with procedures as ordered.
• Manage referrals, prescriptions, lab results, and maintain clear communication with patients and staff.
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies; ensure infection prevention practices and inventory control.
• Collaborate with team; comply with OSHA and safety regulations; may work at multiple locations.
