Generally requires 0 to 3 years of related experience.
Education
Graduation from an approved Medical Assistant school is Required.
Credentials
Certification by the American Association of Medical Assistants or credentialing as a Registered Medical Assistant by the American Society of Medical Technologies is preferred.American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) andany additional applicable life support certification for Healthcare Providers is required upon hirewith at least 6 months validityand maintenance at JHS for the duration of employment.
