What You Will Do

Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the supervision of a physician.

• Assist with treatments ordered by the physician as supervised by the physician or registered nurse.
• Perform select clinical duties.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Perform basic clerical duties including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Manage supplies by ordering and stocking.
• Help maintain a clean and organized environment.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date. Accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or AAMA certs acceptable from NCCT, AAMA, or AMT).
• Completion of Basic Machine Operators (BMO) certification preferred.
• Current registration with the State of Florida as a BMO Operator preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent OR 1 year of relevant experience required.
