Are you a certified Medical Assistant looking for a fulfilling career in urgent care? Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Medical Assistant at the ATAMMC Dumfries Ambulatory Care Center in Dumfries, Virginia. Work in a state-of-the-art outpatient military facility, contributing to high-quality patient care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Modern Outpatient Setting – Work in an updated facility with advanced resources.
Flexible Schedule – Urgent care hours:
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Closed on all 11 Federal Holidays

Meaningful Impact – Serve and support military personnel and their families.
Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Perform patient intake: vital signs, medical history, allergies, and medications.
Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms.
Verify and update patient information for outpatient visits.
Communicate test results and medical instructions under provider direction.
Ensure compliance with TJC, HIPAA, and government healthcare standards.
Clean and sterilize medical instruments and maintain inventory.
Provide cross-coverage to other clinical areas as needed.
Participate in quality improvement projects.
High school diploma or GED.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with training from an accredited program.
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
Minimum 1 year of experience in an Urgent Care setting.
Proficiency in computer operations, including data entry and electronic medical records.
U.S. Citizenship required.
