Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to greet patients, assist with registrations, and support physicians during examinations and procedures. You will perform lab tests, help with immunizations, manage prescriptions, and maintain a clean, welcoming clinic environment.

Ideal candidates have MA certification, CPR, and relevant hands-on experience, with flexibility for occasional travel to other local clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or higher health sciences coursework.
• Active MA certification through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA preferred/required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior experience as MA/CMA/CNA/EMT or 2+ years in a medical office assisting with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, and collecting health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor surgeries, dressing changes, and first aid.
• May assist with immunizations or injections.
• Process prescriptions, pharmacy callbacks, and charting updates.
• Conduct onsite labs (EKG, pulmonary function, glucose tests, urine pregnancy tests).
• Maintain clean and welcoming exam rooms and provide excellent patient service.
• Occasional travel to assist other local clinics.
