Hyndman Area Health Center, Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in a busy medical facility. The role focuses on maintaining efficient patient flow and assisting healthcare providers with patient care.

The Medical Assistant will triage patients, obtain vital signs and medical history, assist with procedures, restock supplies, and ensure exam rooms are clean and organized. Prior healthcare experience and CPR/AED certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a health care setting preferred.
• CPR/AED Certification or equivalent must be current.

Responsibilities

• Triage seriously ill patients and notify nursing/provider staff.
• Maintain smooth patient flow into exam rooms as a top priority.
• Obtain accurate vital signs.
• Obtain accurate medical history for patient chart.
• Update flow charts including medication flow chart per visit.
• Assist providers with procedures as trained.
• Restock supplies in exam rooms and keep rooms clean.
