Job summary

Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY is hiring Medical Assistants. The role combines administrative and clinical duties under supervision in a busy primary care setting.

You'll work closely with physicians to support patient care, manage rooming, vital signs, phlebotomy, EMR documentation, and patient communication. Training is provided; full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with classroom and clinical components.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assistant program or at least 1 year MA experience.
• High School Diploma required for the Medical Assistant Trainee track; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Take patients to rooms and obtain vital signs.
• Assist with clinical procedures and phlebotomy.
• Maintain EMR and coordinate care plans among staff.
• Greet patients and handle scheduling and clerical tasks.
