Job Description
Under the supervision of the OMP Clinical Training and Development Manager and clinical coaches, the Medical Assistant Trainee observes clinical duties in outpatient clinics. They may perform non-clinical support duties such as turning over exam rooms, stocking supplies, checking for expired supplies, and other duties assigned by clinical oversight. Upon completing the orientation period, the MA Trainee is expected to transfer to a permanent MAAP position, sign an agreement with OMC for apprenticeship enrollment, meet WACMHC apprenticeship program requirements, and enroll accordingly.
