Under the supervision of the OMP Clinical Training and Development Manager and clinical coaches, the Medical Assistant Trainee observes clinical duties in outpatient clinics. The trainee may perform non-clinical support duties such as turning over exam rooms, stocking supplies, checking expiration dates, and other tasks assigned by clinical oversight. Upon completing the orientation period, the trainee is expected to transfer to a permanent MAAP position, sign an agreement for apprenticeship enrollment, meet WACMHC program requirements, and enroll accordingly.
