• 18-week Medical Assistant Training Program with lectures, labs, independent study hours and clinical hours.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all educational components of the training program.
• Seeks guidance from instructors and preceptors to enhance skills and competencies.
• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients; maintains recall and continuity of care logs.
• Obtains vital signs and reports findings to the clinic physician; performs venipunctures as ordered.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing; performs other job-related duties as assigned.
