• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Willingness to participate in an 8-week MA training program and related activities.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all educational components of the training program.
• Seeks guidance from instructors and preceptors to enhance skills and competencies in medical assisting.
• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients; maintains recalls and labs records.
• Obtains vital signs and reports findings to the clinic physician; performs venipunctures as ordered.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing as part of the program.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
